How to reduce energy consumption of sand dryer and improve drying efficiency
To reduce the energy consumption and improve the work efficiency of the sand dryer is the pursuit of every user in the sand drying operation. Besides choosing the drying equipment with high thermal efficiency, how can we reduce the energy consumption of sand dryer and improve the drying efficiency?
1. Control the humidity of sand materials. Sand dryer is through the exchange of wet sand and hot air to achieve the purpose of dehydration and drying. If the humidity of the sand we want to dry is too high, the process of dehydration and drying will be prolonged, which will not only increase the consumption of heat energy, but also affect the speed of sand drying, thereby reducing the efficiency of the dryer. Therefore, before drying the sand, appropriate dehydration treatment should be carried out first, and drying treatment should be carried out after the water content of the sand reaches the specified range, so as to reduce energy consumption and improve drying efficiency.
2. Reduce all kinds of heat loss. Generally speaking, the heat loss of the sand dryer will not exceed 10%, and the heat loss of large and medium-sized production units is about 5% if the insulation is appropriate. Therefore, when we use the sand dryer, we should do a good job in the heat preservation of the drying system. In addition, in order to prevent air leakage in the drying process of sand dryer, the method of series connection of forced draft fan and induced draft fan is generally adopted. After reasonable adjustment, the system is operated in zero pressure state, which can avoid the low thermal efficiency of sand dryer caused by the leakage of drying medium or the leakage of ambient air.
3. Increase the inlet temperature and realize partial exhaust gas circulation. In the process of drying operation of the sand dryer, within the allowable temperature limit of the material, appropriately increasing the inlet temperature of the sand dryer is conducive to improving the thermal efficiency of the dryer. At the same time, we can recycle part of the waste gas generated in the drying process, that is to use the waste heat in part of the waste gas to improve the thermal efficiency of the sand dryer. In this way, the purpose of energy saving can be achieved, and the working efficiency of the dryer can be improved.
