Ore Slag Dryer
Slag dryer or ore slag dryer is also a rotary dryer, which is mainly composed of rotary cylinder, induced draft equipment, high-speed dispersing equipment, lifting plate, self cleaning device, transmission device, conveying equipment, hot air equipment, reducer, support device and sealing device. As a manufacturer of slag dryer for many years, the slag dryer has reasonable design, excellent production, stable performance, advanced technology, high output, low energy consumption, small occupation area and high mechanization degree.
Working principle of ore slag dryer
1. Slag is sent to the hopper by belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enters the feeding end through feeding pipe through the feeder of hopper.
2. The slope of the feeding pipe should be greater than the natural inclination of the material, so that the material can flow into the mine dryer smoothly.
3. The dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined to the horizontal line.
4. When the material is added from the higher end, the heat carrier enters from the low end and contacts with the material countercurrent, and some heat carrier and material flow into the cylinder together.
5. With the rotation of the cylinder, the material moves to the lower end under the action of gravity.
6. When the wet material moves forward in the cylinder, the heat carrier is directly or indirectly supplied to the wet material, so that the wet material can be dried, and then sent out by belt conveyor or screw conveyor at the discharge end.
7. The inner wall of slag dryer is equipped with a plate, which is used to copy and scatter the materials, so as to increase the contact surface between the material and the air flow, so as to improve the drying rate and promote the material to move forward.
8. After the heat carrier passes through the dryer, the cyclone dust collector is generally required to capture the materials carried in the gas (the heat carrier is generally divided into hot air, flue gas, etc.).
Note: if it is necessary to further reduce the dust content of tail gas, it should be discharged after passing through bag filter or wet dust collector.
